Alert! Alert!

Hi Everyone! What I am about to explain came as a big shock to me. Like most people on supplemental income,(ie... Social Security, Disability), I was looking for a Medicare Part D , Coverage. I saw a ccommercial, about Blue RX, through Blue Cross, Blue Shield, called the 800 number and requested the infomation packet. I recieved the packet about five days later. Two weeks later, I'm recieving letters,( 3 in one day), from Blue RX, notifying me of my member number and ID's. That my monthly premium would be $67. ( This by the way I could not afford.) Now! All I had asked for was information; I did not sign up for their program by any means. Their system took it upon its self to enroll me. When I contacted the Enrollment Dept., I asked " How i was Enrolled", and they could not answere. You know, that if these companies, that handle these services for Medicare, mistakenly sign people into their programs, you are looking at hundreds of thousands, being mislead into something, (1) They did not want, (2) They had not signed for, (3) They cannot afford. ( I qualified under all three) I urge everyone to be sure of what infomation, you are requesting, and what companies are representing your best interest. Know exactly who your Medicare Provider is and their coverage. It could cost you $$$ down the road. Thanks for listening. JR
